Outreach
Camp At Suraram
The 8th Outreach Camp was organized at Suraram village, Qutbullapur
mandai (30 Kms. away from the city) on Sunday, 20th June 2004.
It was a Multi Discipline Health Camp. Besides our Trust CARE
Foundation, Maxivision and Indo American Cancer Institute jointly
participated.
Experts like Dr.Krishnamraju, Dr. B.N.Rao, Director, MNJ Institute
of Oncology and Regional Cancer Centre, Dr. Mohan Vamsi, Director,
Indo American Cancer Institute, Dr. Mrs. Kalpana, CAO, Indo American
Cancer Institute, Dr. Kasu Prasad Reddy, MD, MaxivisionJ Dr. Y.
Venkata Rao, Plastic Surgeon, CARE Hospital attended the camp.
AM Charitable Trust was represented by Air Chief Marshall (Rtd.)
I.H. Latif (Trustee) and his wife, the renowned social worker,
Mrs. Bilquis Latif, Mr. Pradeep Mittal (Trustee), Col. S.B.Subramanian,
besides the AMC team.
Dr. B.N. Rao (MNJ), Dr. M. Srinivasulu (MNJ), Dr. M.Ramakrishna
(MNJ), Dr. C. Chandrashekhar, paramedical staff of MNJ attended
on the patients. It was an admiring number of 416 patients that
were attended by our doctors.
A public meeting was organized at the start of the camp, presided
over by the President of Rotary Club, Secundrabad, Dr. D.N.Gauri.
Mr. M. Gopalakrishna, lAS, (Rtd.) Chairman, A.P. State Financial
Corporation was the Chief Guest. Air Chief Marshall (Rtd.) was
the Guest of Honour. A full-fledged playground equipment for school
children and a bus shelter for the villagers were inaugurated
by the Chief Guest. The camp was a great success as huge number
of villagers turned up. The proceedings were well covered by both
the newspaper media as well as the electronic media.
Rotarian Dr. D.N. Gauri had sponsored for this camp also, through
Rotary Club of Secundrabad. AM Charitable Trust thank him and
the club for their gesture. .
